Day 2, Saturday, 9 May 2020
Γεια σας Ελλάδα… We arrive in Athens, the capital of Greece. From the airport we will make our way to our 3-star hotel. The rest of the afternoon is yours to explore. Syntagma Square, the National Garden and so much more are just a stone throw away from our hotel. Tonight, we will have dinner at one of the oldest and most traditional Greek tavernas situated in the heart of Plaka. At this taverna you will experience folk dances, a Greek show and delicious Greek dishes.
Day 3, Sunday, 10 May 2020
“High City”…After a scrumptious breakfast we set out on a morning half day sightseeing tour which included the Acropolis Hill, which means “city on the air”. On top of the hill there are three temples: the Parthenon, which is a temple dedicated to the goddess Athena, the temple of Athena Nike and the Erechtheum, which is famous for its caryatids. We will also see the Arch of Hadrian, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus and the Theatre of Dionysus, which is considered to be the world’s first theatre. We will visit the temple of the king of the god’s, Zeus. After experiencing the greats of Athens, we still have time to do some shopping or just relax in one of Athens’s Tavernas.
Day 4, Monday, 11 May 2020
Sailing the Aegean… After breakfast we will ‘set sail’ to the island of Tinos. Indulge yourself in the amazing blue of the Aegean Sea. On arrival at the Port of Tinos, we will be taken to our 4-star hotel.
You have your own time to explore Tinos a bit, or you can just relax and soak up the beauty of the Aegean! Tonight, we enjoy a well- earned dinner together.
Day 5, Tuesday, 12 May 2020
The splendour of marble… Today it is time for our sightseeing tour of the island. Tinos is tranquillity and seclusion. There are so many things to see and so much to drink in from this lesser known island. The chora, or capital, is best known for its religious pilgrimages to the Church of the Panagia Evangelistria. Tinos may as well also be the marble island, as many doorway and windows are embellished with sculpted bird, flower and sailboat motifs. Even the street signs are works of art.

Sunsets… Today we have the day to ourselves to do what our heart desires. Tonight, we dine at a local restaurant and enjoy the last sunset at Tinos.
Day 7, Thursday, 14 May 2020
You, me and Mykonos… By now we have all found our sea legs, and we are yet again off to another adventure at the beautiful island of Mykonos! After our sightseeing tour of Mykonos, take your shoes off and relax at a café right next to the sea. Or take a bus to AnoMera, which offers you superb material for photos with its traditional stone houses and bold, beautiful bougainvilleas against the white painted walls. Another scrumptious dinner in Mykonos and off to bed… or not!
Day 8, Friday, 15 May 2020
Hidden Gem… At the end of today’s ferry ride, we arrive at Paros! Surely the gem of the Cyclades! Take your time as you stroll through Parikia. In true Cycladic style, it’s a labyrinth of narrow whitewashed streets. Or visit the winery. Relax and enjoy the island vibeand don’t forget to sample the regional cuisine. We dine together tonight.
Day 9, Saturday, 16 May 2020
Aye Aye, Captain… Soak in the beauty of this Hidden Gem of the Cyclades. Today we go out for a lazy day on a boat cruise to the surrounding islands. During our trip we enjoyed some of the best swimming areas that the Cyclades has to offer. Dive and snorkel in crystal blue waters all day!
Remember the sunscreen and sunglasses. We lunch on the boat and tonight is yours to spend however you want.
Day 10, Sunday, 17 May 2020
The Big Blue… Our last day on Paros! Make the most of your Cyclades holiday and visit the winery or enjoy the beaches of Paros. Do your last island shopping. Tonight, we will enjoy dinner at one of the many tavernas in Paros.
Day 11, Monday, 18 May 2020
Ahoi… After breakfast, we leave the lovely Paros for Athens. Once again enjoy the ferry ride and the last of our sea trips. Back in Athens we will have enough time for the last-minute shopping for those back home. Tonight, we dine together.
Day 12, Tuesday, 19 May 2020
Antíoelláda…All good things must come to an end. It is time to say goodbye as we head to Athens International Airport and make our way back to sunny South Africa.
